Tasted at the Confraria dinner. A fabulous nose, full of dark cherry fruit. Youthful and full of life with black cherry fruit dominating the palate - big, sweet and very well structured - that grows beautifully on the palate. Powerful but with good elegance. An amazing port. 96/100. 22-Jun-17. Decanted 12 hours.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
