NV Ferreira Tawny (Dona Antonia Reserve)

The Dona Antonia Tawny Reserva. Drunk at the Ferreira Lodge. Average age of the wines is around 8 years.

Brick red colour, about 20% opaque. Slightly baked fruit on the nose with the baked impression carrying on to the palate as a slightly burnt rhubarb. Gentle and soft finish of brown sugar. Pleasant enough. 85/100. 22-Jun-17. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
