Extended tasting over 4 days to allow the wine to develop and show a more full picture of itself.

Delicate, full of fruit and cornflowers on the nose and the palate. The tannins are very soft and fine-grained and the structure is given by the plentiful acidity. The whole is very harmonious and balanced. Rather a regal wine, with the prettiness typical of the vintage. 92-94.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
