2015 Ramos Pinto

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

8,000 bottles produced of this full vintage blend. Youthful colour with a wide rim; little showing on the soft, floral nose. Gentle flavours on the palate bringing soft fruit and modest tannins balanced by just the right amount of acidity. Great aftertaste with full flavours and chewy red licorice tannins that deliver a haunting finish. This port manages to be both ethereal and delicate and yet also very full. 89-91/100. 06-Nov-17.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
