NV Quinta das Tecedeiras Tawny Reserve

Mahogany brown colour with a hint of red in the tone. A huge and very offputting dose of bottle stink on the nose. Soft caramel dominates the palate, mixed with a burnt sugar bitterness. Soft and sweet on the aftertaste and with a modest finish of burnt sugar and hot elastic bands. Disappointing. 80/100. 06-Nov-17.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
