From the 2017 Berry Brothers Port Walk.

Deep red with a dark "smoked glass" look; 40% opaque. Fresh cranberries on the nose, fruity but alo a little bitter. Lots of ripe fruit on the palate balanced by a strong acidity. A little watery in texture, but very flavoursome — especially with air. A touch hot and harsh on the aftertaste, then some heat on the finish before the aniseed balls finish takes hold and stays...and stays...and stays. 92/100. 23-Nov-17.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
