1983 Ramos Pinto

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Mature brick red in colour with an opaque centre. A lovely nose of fruit; fruit which is sweet, ripe and round. Gentle tannisn sit on the palate, wrapped in lovely sweet fruit; soft but with the tannins underneath. Delicious fruit that is sweet and slightly candied on the aftertaste. 92/100. 05-Dec-17. Decanted 2 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
