I posted a question on the Port Conversations without properly introducing myself.

I'm a port novice, with a love of the wine and a lot to learn. My introduction to port was through port-style wines in California (specifically Prager Port Works in Napa); later I was able to sample some true portos and I'm looking forward to trying more...

I hope that this community can help me navigate the world of port, offer advice and help me avoid any critical mistakes along the way!
