NV Croft 430th Anniversary

Deep red, nicely balanced between maturity and youth; 90% opaque. Very attractive gentle nose of sweet bramble fruit. Nicely balanced on the palate with generous sweet fruit, and tannins which appear with a bit of work. Sweet fruit on the finish. This is enjoyable, easy to drink and finishes with panache and impact. A nice step up the Ruby Reserve ladder from the Triple Crown. 85 14-Mar-19
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
