Delicious and fragrant on the nose, really rich and lively. Sweet but balanced entry, elegant and refined. Deeply rich with wonderful acidity, full of concentrated marmalade depth. Complexity follows in waves on the very long finish. Wow! 94/100. 16-Apr-19. Opened 1½ hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
