I also have the usual suspects....

I have lost track of who is in /out but suggest moving to the Red room or The Ovens if possible as the green room will be a squeeze for many more than 6 -8 max

My alternative arrangements are now in place so I will be unable to attend the 1994 tasting. A shame, as I love this vintage.

Hi Christopher

Would love to be able to join you and/or go on the reserve list if you are maxed ou? Could offer a few but perhaps only doubling up at the moment. So would search out something/offer a buy in,, bring something like a Fonseca or Grahams seeing as it night be interesting to have two, or to keep 94 honest a 92 Fonseca and 95 Vesuvio to see how they stack up?

Great. And will do Christopher. But I note no mention of cheese in any selection. Do I presume that is a given??

By the way the 94s I have are Croft, Dow's, Fonseca, Graham's and Warre's, but to be honest if they are blind, and these already provided, the 2 interlopers I suggested might be fun, but of course your call...

Christopher, I have not seen the first post being updated with the current guest list (this may well be a device failure my end) but, if you haven't picked up that I would like to be there if there is space, I would like to be there if there is space. As noted above, all I currently have from 1994 is Smith Woodhouse, so would need to adopt/buy in if someone else is bringing that.

Christopher is being thoroughly useless at finding the time to update the thread, so I have seized ancient powers and have stepped in to update the list at the top of the thread.

However, to be fairer to Christopher, I know he's having a tough time at work at the moment so I'm doing this to help him out a bit.

First post updated with revised attendee list. There are two spaces available.

Please could people bring the following:
CPR - Fonseca and Eira Velha (the latter for JDAW to adopt and give to AP)
MPM - Croft
GEAG - Smith Woodhouse
JDAW - Ramos Pinto
PW - Churchill
AP - RP to give to JDAW
Nick - Graham
THRA - Vesuvio
IDJ - Skeffington
BMHR, CMAG, RGO - something not on the list already or adopt from Tom

Nick - we don't usually pre-order dessert / savoury so you will be able to order cheese on the night. However, if you want plate of cheese as a starter or main, you'll need to order that in advance. If you look at the Boot & Flogger's website you'll find their cheese menu (a choice of 4).

Hi Christopher,
Keeping it simple on the food front for my first visit: Ribeye medium-rare with additional creamed spinach (or mash) in addition to the beans/pots that come as standard. I have to be wheat-free, although gluten-free tends to be the easier instruction. Thanks!

I’m afraid childcare next week has got the better of me at this late stage and I won’t be able to take advantage. Enjoy.

No, just Noval was brought from Sussex, because somebody else had RP. I told the organiser not the thread, as at that time there hadn’t been a decision about blind.

Tom was the only person offering Taylor, though it was not conveniently available. If he is able I would say please bring; in either case forget the Kopke.

If Nick were able to bring either the Dow or Warre (he is currently down for Graham) then I would donate a Graham also. And if Nick were happy and able to bring two, I would ask him to bring both Dow and Warre, one for himself and one for adoption (whether by person or group).

I am not the substitute organiser; I merely stepped in to help a friend who was struggling with time. My work is done and decisions revert back to those who will be attending on the night.

To clarify my suggestion:
- I believe myself and Nick were the only people offering any of G, W and D, where I have G, and Nick has all 3.
- current proposals for who brings what has Nick bringing the G.
- if we want to ensure we have all three at the table, I was proposing to bring my G (in addition to the Ch) if Nick were willing and able to change at this late stage and bring either or both of the W and D.

No, I don't think so. If my tracking is correct, I think we currently have the following attendees with what they are bringing:

CMAG - Taylor
RGO -
CPR - Fonseca and Eira Velha (AP adopting)
MPM - Croft
GEAG - Smith Woodhouse
JDAW - Noval
PW - Churchill, Graham
AP -
Nick - Dow, Warre
THRA - Vesuvio, Gould Campbell (RGO adopting)
IDJ - Skeffington

which would make it 11 people, with 13 ports from '94.
