1968 Quinta do Noval Colheita
A remarkable full rich amber colour. Wonderful length and depth. Try it if you can! Tasted blind, I was not wholly sure what it was (Maury Mas Amiel from the 1970s or 1980s? Very old fine Moscatel de Setubal?). But, I was sure that it was extremely good. The #2 WOTN.

The sales platform on wineowners.com is currently listing a six bottle (in bond) case of this for £875.
It's been on sale for a few months, so the seller might be open to offers?
And just to clarify, I'm not the seller.

I'm not the seller either but would caution against jumping in on these old Noval colheitas without knowing the bottling date. Quite a few that I have tried with a decade or so in bottle have been cloudy and lacking the freshness you get from a recent bottling. Not something to buy blind in my opinion.

Bottled 2017. Deep red-orange colour, 40% opaque. Hazelnuts and lavender oil on the nose, big and pronounced. On the palate this is intense, full of acidity and very thick in texture. Honey, malt, lime and a thousand other flavours jostle on the palate highlighted by intense acidity and with a touch of dryness from some tannins. An incredible finish, full of the flavours that dominate the palate, long lasting hot and covering a multitude of flavours. Stunning length. 94/100.
