After seeing your headline, claiming that there was a six-pointer at St Andrew's, I was assuming that both sides had played their Joker. Supporting a side that has not been in the Premiership for a while, I had no idea what the current rules were and taking the juicy bits from Jeux Sans Frontieres seemed more reasonable than most touted recently.

I ensured that I checked the points tally before and after the result and came to the conclusion that you must have been mistaken about the use of the aforementioned jokers as the points were not doubled for both teams. Please ensure that you do not make this mistake again.

Obviously this could not be the old cliche about six points net difference between the teams, based on one result, as that is too hackneyed for words and you would never stoop that low. There would, after all, only be three points available.

Looking forward to when they put the guys in sumo-suits on for drop-balls.

As you must know, the final full stop should be outside the parenthesis. As for the accents, I see cliché, but not the missing grave. Am I taking on the persona of someone I know called Alex? [Edit: got it — Frontières. I was looking for an à, as you sort-of said.]
