FG91. Dark red, 45% opaque. Mid weight, dry, little fruit. TFP made the right decision not to declare this.

Red, quite pale. Very sugary on the nose. Underpowered red fruits, spicy finish. Respectable but not wonderful.

Fairly pale. Nose not great - possibly an acetone note?
Palate better, but not much to report. OK.

My bottle. And representative of where it is today so comments above happy to let stand.

However, while it's in the drink soon category I find pleasure in it. Now toned down and fading gently datey fruit and herby earthy tietary notes with overall balance dimished a bit with some dryness on the finish. Over the last 20 years I have drunk 2 full cases and 24 in halves and have always enjoyed them. I think I have one bottle left. My timing is right on this one (unlike the Taylor where I also have only one left from a case).

Mature red tone, 40% opaque. Baked nose with lots of cocktail cherry style fruit. Smooth texture on the palate, thicker than most at this tasting but lacking fruit on the initial impact. Raisins and burnt fruitcake come through on the mid-palate, with the burnt raisins dominating the aftertaste and finish. Not a great bottle. 83/100.
