Light pretty colour. Hint of drain cleaner on nose. Very dry in mouth. Not right? Tasted blind at B&F 9 January 2020. Courtesy AHB.

45% opacity, warm red. Dusty muted nose, dried fruit. Fresh entry, gentle tannins, dried red fruits - strawberries. Not quite singing.

Opened at 12.00, decanted at 15.00, drunk at 21.00. Spoiled by bottle stink. Later the bottle stink blew off a little to reveal an acidic, redcurrant led wine. Not rated. Tasted 09-Jan-20. Decanted 6 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
