2012 Quinta do Noval LBV

Bottled 2017. A lovely rose red colour, very light in tone; 60% opaque. Delicious sweet red fruit on the nose. Sweet fruit on the palate, elegant and smooth and fragrant. Balanced by the soft tannins giving a sweet and lovely palate, leading to a fragrant violet finish. Very enjoyable. 88/100. drunk 29-Feb-20. Decanting time N/K.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
