1995 Dows Bomfim VP

Drunk during the essencia do vinho at the Symingtons stand:

The Dows Bomfim 95 is very open and fruity now. Medium structure.

The nose is showing blackberry and cherry aromas with a good intensity. In the mouth this aroma is backboned by a good alcoholic and tannic structure. The aftertaste is very fruity and with a good length. A well made VP.

I found this to be rich initially, but later on at an akward state. I look forward to revisiting this port at 20 year mark. I think they are good value compared to similar vintage years that are not single Quintas.
