Kopke White Colheita 2003.

Sample bottle filled in 2020. A blend of 50% Viosinho, 15% Gouveio, 15% Rabigato, 20% Malvasia Fina; the grapes are fermented seperately and then blended early in the year after the harvest.

A lovely apricot golden colour, 30% opaque. Peach and green kiwi on the nose, pronounced despite the cool temperature of the wine. Nice texture, attractive honeyed flavours with powerful acidity keeping the balance. Intense flavours on the palate with honey and lime marmalade. Delicious lime oil and citrus finish which evolves into dried mango. Lovely lingering finish. 89/100. Tasted 17-Jun-20.
