30 minute decant, needed longer. 50% opaque at most, a lovely garnet. Exotic white pepper and roses on nose. In the mouth, rose hips, lychee, Chinese five spice on the finish, reminded me of Rolly Gassman's Gewurztraminer. Quite light for a 1985, and elegant. Later, Batgers Chinese Figs on both nose and palate.
Consumed with co-taster 01/10/20 and 05/10/20, the second half stored in 'fridge in a screw-top half bottle and being remarkably congruent with the first half.
