A glass consumed at the end of a dinner that featured some really stellar burgundies.
A slightly cloudy brownish-pink. Nose slightly spirity, with some toffee and caramel. Turkish delight on the palate. Not enough acidity? Pleasant but, in its company, unexciting.
This bottle didn't seem quite quite right; possibly faulty, possibly simply dramatically under-decanted (four hours). I'd like to try it again some time.
Consumed 29/09/20.
