First bottle from a previously unopened OWC. Bottles in excellent condition with original tissue wrappers.

Decanted but didn't immediately drink, so spent 24hrs under VacuVin prior to tasting.

40% opaque, some browning to core and pale pink rim. Developed nose of leather, wood, spice and possibly orange. In the mouth, very rich with lovely taste of Pontefract Cakes. Slightly spirity burn but very long. Delicious.
