1963 Taylor

Post by Alex M »

Prepped for NYE. Stood for 6 days prior to decant. Fill level MS. Sticky capsule. Cork split on extraction.

Initial impressions: Lots of pepper, fiery, not a long finish. Not much on the nose either.

Decant +4hrs. Much better. Vanilla, eucalyptus and peppermint. Not too tannic and the pepper/fiery sensation has blown off. It didn't last much longer to assess further development however I would say this is in a good drinking window but feel unqualified to say how long it will remain there for.

It reminded me of G55. Worth trying if you can!

96 points at its best.
