I'll be at my parents so unlikely to join unless my dad wants to get involved.

Aaah - just realised that there's the Quevedo Colheita Vertical the following Thursday, so suspect there will be limited interest in doing the 9th as well. Unless there are objections I'll assume this isn't required.

I’m game for a Zoom tasting this Thursday.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Appears that a number of people could do Thursday instead. Shall we do that?
Unless there are howls of protest I'll change it.
Mike - can you do your Zoom thing for Thursday?

Odd, because I am also online and there is no one else in the meeting.
I used the link from the original invite, is that not correct?

I’ve had to drop out to run a couple of errands. I’ll be back about 9pm UK time.

By the way, Seattle to Carmel, CA is roughly the same distance as London to Florence, Italy.
I've driven to visit Andy in L.A. before... that's the equivalent of London to Naples, Italy. And I did it in a smart car.

If I drive more than 4 hours straight on the motorway I start to fall asleep, regardless of whether I'm tired or not. London to Naples...forget it. From my home in the Douro to my holiday home in the Algarve it's a 5h30m drive, 95% of it motorway, and I already find it way too much.
