NV Quinta da Devesa Tawny 10YO (bottled 2019)

Bottled in 2019. Polished red cedar in colour. Delicious toffee and caramel nose, sweet and slight floral perfume. Slight lavender polish on the palate, a touch of bitterness balancing the late caramel; great levels of acidity with the honey and cranberry all combining to give a wonderful full and rich palate. Sweet, honeyed aftertaste and lovely cinder toffee and caramel finish. Lovely, lovely Port. 92/100. Drunk 27-Jan-21, Decanted 1 hour.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
