1977 Delaforce: Rich red hue, medium translucency. Strong and unpleasant cabbaggey smell, described by Jay as “vegetable† and by AJRH as “lettuce or rocket†. Lots of heat in the mouth, preceded by sour. I didn’t like this at all. Bad bottle perhaps. I wrote a score of “1-?†.
