NV Fletcher Tawny 40YO (bottled 2020)

Fletcher’s 40YO Tawny, bottled 2020: dark mahogany-red, 70% opaque. Rich nose, a touch of VA, delicious sweet dates. Thick texture, sweet impact with big and powerful acidity. Bitter-sweet orange oil, a hint of dates, then a very fine fragrant orange oil finish. Big, rich and extremely tasty. 91/100. Open 2 hours. Drunk 05-Jun-21 2021.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
