We all need to use our 2020 holiday allowance. So could take the following morning off work. Hence not really a school night.

Are you suggesting 35 bottles (e.g.)?

We could potentially have the 1960 & 1970 Private Cellar releases to compare against "normal" 1960 & 1970. Is this desirable? It appears that they are all available from our combined resources.

This is now less than two months away, so waking up activity.

I’ve freed up a couple of spaces so DRL and Hadge are promoted from reserves. Can you attend? What do you have [by PM if preferred]?

Will be confirming availability and offerings over the next few weeks.

A number of places have opened up - currently three available.

Ralph, Axel P, SCD - you're all in, but need to know by the end of this week if you want to take up your place. If you do want to come, then also need to know what bottle(s) you can offer & associated costs.

UncleTom - suspect you will now make the final cut, so probably worth sending me a note of what you have & associated costs.

Apologies… I should have dropped out of the reserves as we unfortunately have bookings and I can’t make this one. Uncle Tom… I think that puts you firmly in a seat! Enjoy all and I shall look forward to reading about it.

Right, the current plan is 15 bottles, all pre-1980.

Based on what I've been previously offered I think we currently have the following:

1934
1942
1945
1947
1955
1958
1960
1963
1966
1970
1975
1977

So, probably looking for another three bottles. Hopefully will have the list confirmed by the end of this week.

I don't have the '42 or '45 and only one '47 and one '55 - but have good stashes of all the others. Could also supply the '22..?

Indeed, The Book’s mentions of Mayor Sworder are in Df77 and W77, so I had no evidence of them at all as a bottler.

Please, evidential photos. Label, capsule, cork: usual business.

Just confirming final details of who is supplying what. Hope to have this sorted today.

Any volunteers for 1966 & 1975? I can supply both if necessary, but would prefer not to.

Also, does anyone have the 1950? This is the only obvious vintage we're currently missing.

We also have confirmed guests - Anthony & William Symington - who are bringing the 77 in Tappit Hen.

So, final line-up of bottles is:

1922 - THRA
1942 - CPR
1945 - TC
1946 - TC
1947 - IDJ
1955 - AHB
1958 - WPS
1960 - GEAG
1962 - PW
1963 - NAC
1966 - THRA
1970 - NAC
1975 - THRA
1977 (Tappit Hen) - The Symingtons

For the 1958 there are a couple of potential suppliers, just awaiting some provenance information to determine which to go for.

Right, bottles and associated suppliers now all known - top post has been updated accordingly.
I'll produce a statement of account and let everyone know what they owe or might receive. Per head cost is approximately £200.

Now onto food...
Will check with B&F re menu and post what's available.

B&F have supplied their current menu:
B&F Menu 27Sep21.JPG
B&F Menu 27Sep21.JPG (76.04 KiB) Viewed 15358 times

Gary (the Manager) is trying to source alternative steaks - he'll try and let me know tomorrow.

As the menu has changed I'm ignoring any previous saved orders.

Please let me know ASAP what you want - starter / main + any sides / dessert.

I'd like to get the order in by the end of this week.
