Yes I’m in and a suggestion would be:

You were at an auction (in a wine shop) years ago and couldn’t resist what seemed like a bargain😊🍷So you bought a good few and opened one😂 Ah so that’s why it was a bargain. Years have passed and now I’m asking you to go to the back of your cellar (cupboard) and give it another go; what’s the worst that could happy, great gravy😊👍

Probably not this time. I’ve got a bit of a frenetic week ahead of me
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

A very solid maybe from me.

For the theme, I think Julian has created an excellent one.

I.e. It captures a snapshot of our everyday ports... Or who knows, maybe you had an excuse for something fancier?

I am now a 'no' as a client has dropped a uncivilised 2100 call in my diary. Boo.

I will have to only join you in spirit, because I'll be heading off to the airport to fly to Portugal at about that time. Have a good evening!

Glenn wins the award for the best excuse for missing the Zoom call. Far better than my “I’m a bit busy”.
