I have O80 here, and some more at Seckfords, and my SW80 is also at Seckfords. I have yet to find the O80 here, but am sure it is buried here somewhere. You would think that having slowed my drinking down (a long covid side effect meant wine in particular tasted revolting), that the cellar here would have emptied, at least slightly. But no, it seems my buying rate has been slightly greater than our drinking rate, either down to optimism or insanity. But, hurrah, wine has become tasty again, so perhaps it was not so crazy.

Apologies, I hadn’t spotted that I was due to provide both Croft Roeda and Taylor. While I have easy access to the Roeda, I don’t have easy access to the Taylor.

If we do drink the Taylor (which is not on the current draft of the placemats) would someone else be able to provide it?

Apologies for the change of plans - now can't make this one. Holiday abroad booked for this week with the family. There's always a chance that something scuppeors those plans, but as it stands, I step back.

If my promised GC80 remains required, let me know.

There's no waiting list because the attendees list isn't full yet - so you should be in.

If there’s still a space available could I reserve it for a guest (and potential future TPFer)? He’s currently abroad but will confirm when he gets back later this week. Initials are JB (another Julian).

It is time to make a realistic judgement. There is no way that, within two weeks of now, I would will be strong enough for this tasting. Sorry.

However, I’m still willing to provide my bottle — it would make it a more interesting tasting. But I’m going to impose a condition: people must take and post TNs. Let me know if people agree.

@ all - nac's guest can't make it. So there are now 2 spare places. Unless anyone wishes to nominate an attendee, I will trim a couple of bottles from the list because 16 bottles between 12 is too much.

The main for yours truly will be the special order rib-eye, cooked rare, with chips and green beans (and if Béarnaise sauce is available, I would say yes please). If Welsh Rabbit is also available (I think it is an off-menu order), please could I have that as a savoury? Thanks.

Assuming I am looking at the right menu, might I please have the soup (or welsh rabbit if they will do that); then the “Beyond Meat” burger with chips; and sticky toffee pudding? If people tend only to have two courses, please crop whichever course tends not to be eaten!

I'll have a very cheesy Welsh rarebit to start, the sirloin from the standard menu (medium-well) + fries + beans/shallots, and the cheese.

Do we have a final list of bottles yet - wondered if I'm bringing 1/2/3?

@idj123 - your ribeye is confirmed

@HTWH, @akzy - uncle_tom - please could you send me your food orders? The chef has ordered a couple of extra ribeyes just in case.
