Dark red colour with a wide rim. Cedar and blackcurrant dominate the nose. Blackcurrant fruit impact, precise and focused. Wonderful big blackcurrant fruit mid-palate, clean acidity, perfumed and with hints of tannins swimming beneath the fruit. A lovely blackcurrant and dark chocolate finish, just a touch of menthol heat, and a great length. This is very good Port and, perhaps, one day will be a great Port. 89/100. Tasted 02-Nov-2021. Decanted 3 hours.

Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.
2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports, except a good bottle of Fonseca 1927. Wow!
