Barros wines are made from grapes sourced from Cima Corgo, Calem from Douro Superior. About 5,000 bottles per brand for the vintage wines. Kopke and Burmester wines are made from grapes from Sao Luiz or Arnozelo.

Final blend, half bottle, 30 minute decant. Deepest colour. Sweet and floral fruit. Pure fruit, perfumed, ripe but without being sweet. Big tannins on the late palate. Fabulous finish of sweet fruit and multiple phases. Fabulous. 92-94/100. Tasted 01-Oct-21.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
