An update.
I have used executive powers as the locum organiser of the tasting to invite Jamie Graham to join us. Jamie will bring a bottle of the Churchill 1994. If no-one drops out between now and 16 November we will be 15 around the table. If someone drops out I will limit the numbers attending to a maximum of 14.
Please could people bring or adopt the following bottles:
JG - Ch
GEAG - SW and V, the V to be adopted by JDAW
WHW - Bu and Ra (and Ni12), the Bu to be adopted by SCD
NAC - GC and T, the T to be adopted by MPM
HTWH - Cr and QH, Cr to be adopted by ZDR
TC - F and Ca, the Ca to be adopted by RON
AHB - G and W, the W to be adopted by IDJ
CPR - D and K, the K to be adopted by CMAG
Thus we will have 15 Ports, these being the full range of Symington brands (at the time of release), three of the four Sogevinus brands (missing Bs) and Romaniera.
Churchill - brought by Jamie Graham
Croft - brought by HTWH and adopted by ZDR
Fonseca - brought by TC
Taylor - brought by NAC and adopted by MPM
Dow - brought by CPR
Graham - brought by AHB
Warre - brought by AHB and adopted by IDJ
Vesuvio - brought by GEAG and adopted by JDAW
Smith Woodhouse - brought by GEAG
Gould Campbell - brought by NAC
Quarles Harris - brought by HTWH
Kopke - brought by CPR and adopted by CMAG
Calem - brought by TC and adopted by RON
Burmester - brought by WHW and adopted by SCD
Romaniera - brought by WHW

With the amount of placemats you've made you could've done a 2nd printing run of your book. Just saying.
I want it.

It's time to start thinking about what to eat on Tuesday 16th.
The standard menu is as follows:
STARTERS
Soup of the Day
Smoked Salmon
Duck Liver Pate
MAINS
Fish & Chips
Bangers & Mash
Vegan Burger
Roast Vegetable & Feta Salad
Grilled Chicken Breast with Lentils
240g Sirloin
SIDES
Chips
Fries
Green Beans & Shallots
Green Salad
Mash
SPECIALS
300g Ribeye £34
400g T-Bone £42
600g Sirloin £48
There is still no sign of Welsh Rarebit on the menu but we can always ask...
If anyone fancies sharing a 600g medium-rare sirloin with me then let me know.

GC and T extracted from cellar and stood up.
Planning on double decanting the night before unless organisers request otherwise.

These wines are still pretty young and robust. I think decanting in the morning on the day would be perfect.

Food order has gone in. Ian, Will you have to order on the night either because there is no standard food order for you (Will) or your standard food order no longer exists (Ian). Those of you with standard food order starters which no longer exist will have to order on the night (Tony, Mike, Rich).

Super cheesy Welsh Rarebit followed by ribeye steak (M-R) and chips with green beans
Thanks
