Still a rich red, its tawny nature only showing as it goes orange towards the rim.
Nose of licorice and aniseed, but with a nod back to Touriga blueberries still present.
Very smooth entry, but then perks up, blackberry and apple crumble, no bad thing.
Very tawnified finish, warmth and elegance entirely without fire.
I quite like this.
