1995 Ramos Pinto

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A big, rich red colour; still opaque despite the age. A divine rich fruit nose. A delicious palate constructed around the slowly maturing fruit. The tannins are ripe and nutty and integrating so well into the wine. Warm fruit on the aftertaste. Such a delicious Port, starting to drink really well.
91/100. Tasted 22-Mar-22.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
