NV Barros Tawny 20YO (bottled 2021)

Available by the glass from The Port House on the Strand. Barros 20yo bottled 2021. Deep orange colour, 80%. Little showing on the nose but on the palate this is thick and rich in texture. Deeply honeyed yet with excellent acidity giving a balanced richness. Hidden in the depths are layer after layer of citrus and honey. Big and rich aftertaste and a wonderful honey and lemon finish. A great drink. 90/100. Drunk 09-Jun-22.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
