2019 Alves de Sousa

Dense sweet bramble fruit on the nose. Good density of fruit on the palate, powerful acidity and fine-grained tannins. The palate is balanced, the fruit sweet and perfumed. Tasted blind on 28-Apr-22. 92-94/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
