1966 Delaforce

Pale gold, standing out from the crowd as pale and lifeless. Oxidised nose with lots of rosemary oil and plenty of plasticiser. The palate is better with gentle barley sugar and honey but nowhere near how the wine should show. Not Rated. Tasted 25-Jul-22. Decanted 6 hours.

Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
