Tasted in the Churchill 1982 garden in Vila Nova de Gaia with lunch, in the drizzle.

Churchill 10yo from 75cl, bottled in 2021. Deep brick red colour, 80% opaque. Young and very much full of cocktail cherry. Hints of mint on the aftertaste and a delicious liquorice finish. Perfect for washing down a plate of cured meats and cheese. Not scored. Drunk 19-Jun-22.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
