Popped and decanted and poured
Juniper on the nose to the usual acrid 1975 extent. I really do wonder what went into that spirit.
Really lovely colour though, bright ruby.
If you ignore the spirit element (which is hard) a silky mouth feel.
Heat and not much more on the mid palate
Sweet strawberries on the finish
This bottle discernibly port, even discernibly Graham, although structurally faulty (design facts rather than design faults, Rover engineers would say).
Will see how it develops.

A light pretty garnet.
Spirit still distresssingly obtrusive on nose (and palate).
Palate congruent with previous note.
I will describe this as 'attractively disappointing' i.e. I'd go and get some more if the cat weren't asleep on my knee.
