More than happy to accept although unable to offer any TTF or TV from those particular vintages.

I will likewise need to adopt btw, if I didn't say so previously (the only TTF/TV I have to hand is TV69).

Have enquired via C&B about availabilty of the TTF2019, and it has been confirmed that it isn't going to be released until much later. The Taylor's press release suggests 2029/2030 - https://www.taylor.pt/en/news/taylors-t ... tage-ports.

As a follow-up to the enquiry they've offered some TTF2005 at £110/6 in bond (which works out something like £25/bt all in - comparable to Majestic who are currently knocking it out at £30). If this is of interest to anyone let me know and I'll forward the details.

Having cogitated, might I suggest we add in TV 87, 91, 95, 01? I have 91 but not the others.

I regret that despite my best efforts to be able to attend, I am going to have to drop out of this tasting. My diary is getting a little congested over the rest of this year and something has to give.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

@GEAG - I think it might be difficult to find the TV87. There was only a single confirmed sighting for the TV vertical next year, and I suspect it might be being held back for that tasting. How about the 2005 instead? That’s readily available.

A&M have half a dozen TV87 listed at £78/bt inc, depending how keen you are on that specific wine.

Could I please suggest aiming for an early, or at least a prompt, start?
As there is currently another train strike planned for the following day, staying over after the tasting is no longer practicable, and I and perhaps others will therefore have to leave early to ensure we can get home before the strike begins at midnight.

I am still intending to come to this tasting but as Phil suggests I will be leaving early (before 9pm) to catch my last train from Waterloo which is at 21.30 as I can’t get back the following day due to the strike. I may also skip dinner as a result.

@ all - I am now going to have to be in Birmingham for a work meeting on 2nd so cannot absolutely guarantee an early arrival. We can aim for 1800 prompt start if someone else (or ideally two or three people) are reliably able to get there to do the pouring at 1730. I will also need someone else to print, sorry. To be clear, there is every likelihood I will be there at 1730, but your relying on it if you want a prompt start is inadvisable.

Strike dates have all changed but having altered all my arrangements to come up and go back on the same day I am going to stick with that plan. I should be able to arrive early to help set up and begin pouring for a prompt start.

Just printed test pages and all OK.

Some minor amendments:
TF95 - MPM bringing
TV01 - CMAG from NAC
Missing Christopher G, Phil W, Ben P as attendees

Bad — thank you. Believed fixed.

Please print one more test page. Do the Vargellas and Terra Feira circles seem, approximately, to be of equal darkness?
