1977 Warre

P'n'd'd'n'p

Perhaps a touch darker than usual for this commonly very pale wine, 50 per cent opaque.

Nose displays ripe strawberries, slightly blowsy. Parma violets.

Palate ripe blueberry mint and fig. Gentle warmth.

Delicious end to the week.

It's not going to last forever, but I can see myself getting through half a case a year for the next decade.

Last glass more grapey on the palate.. More violets on the nose. Spirit faded other than very late on the finish.

There's lot about. Great! I will buy more.
