A single bottle obtained as a gift from a former employer in December 1997. Stored in my cellar since.
Opened 1715 on 1st November 2022, the evening before the TTF vertical. Decanted, then back into the bottle and Vac-U-Vined.
Capsule fully branded - "TFY QUINTA DA TERRA FEITA 1982 Vintage Porto".
Unable to tell level as bottle too dark, but no signs of seepage. Bottom section of cork snapped off whilst removing, but this was due to the shortness of the corkscrew. Cork itself was in excellent condition.
Lots of heavy, compacted sediment.
QA sample OK, with no obvious faults.

Light pretty colour. Pale rim. Pontefract cakes on nose. Bit of licorice on the palate. Good but benefits from being the first cough medicine of the evening. A bit of coffee, later.
