NV Andresen White 40YO (bottled 2022)

A cask sample drawn about 6 hours before being tasted.

Over 40yo White cask sample: the oldest wine in the blend is a dry white from 1945. The wine has a lovely vinagrinho nose, very rich. Acacia honey, lime oil, generous saline acidity and even hints of tannins. Rich and unctuous yet still very fresh. Lovely layering and complexity. 94/100. Tasted 14-Oct-22.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
