Quinta dos Canais 2007, available by the glass from the Cockburn lodge tasting room. (Cockburn also made a classic vintage that year.). Deep red, narrow rim. Stewed red fruit on the nose. Closed on the palate, some black fruit, a little stewed, with a huge grip. Some high-toned edges to the aftertaste, bramble fruit. Very youthful, but with the odd stewed tone. 85/100. Drunk 15-Oct-22.
