1994 Churchill

Churchill 1994 from half bottle. Decanted 1 hour. Mature ochre colour, 60% opaque. Little showing on the nose, perhaps a little red apple. Sharp and aggressive entry, maybe a slight touch of VA in the palate? Nice finish, with a good length, of red apple but the VA causes too much sharpness in the wine. NR. Drunk 24-Sep-22.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
