NV Churchill Tawny 10YO (bottled 2021)

50cl bottle filled in 2021. Deep cherry red colour, a little limited on the nose but with pronounced glacé cherry on the palate. Sweet, but balanced by the acidity in the wine. Quite assertive on the palate, but with the roughest of edges smoothed over a little. Sweet cherry fruit finish of modest length. 88/100. 02-Nov-22. Pop 'n' pour.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
