2017 Taylor LBV

Taylor 2017 LBV, open 24 hours. Surprisingly smooth with sweet and fragrant black cherry and loganberry. Rounded, beautifully ripe and delicious. A touch of tannin gives a bit of structure, but the ripe and plummy fruit dominated. Really quite lovely, well made and fruit forward although without a lot of complexity.  87/100. Opened 26-Dec-22.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
