1970 Offley Boa Vista
24 hour decant. A fine deep ruby.
Nose of crushed herbs, star anise, cherries in kirsch.
Lovely smooth mouthfeel, blood orange, red cherry, cinnamon and star anise again.
The very faintest warmth, late, with a hint of allspice.
Delicious port, perfectly ready. From same case as previous bottle reported on this forum. Absolutely cracking and an advert for high quality provenance.

Just to note - fading after 48 hours. Still good port but not splendid.
