2004 Croft LBV

Croft 2004, bottled in halves in 2009. Purchased from Tesco in 2009/2010 for about £2.50 per half.

Took a couple of days to come round and stop being a bit hard and angular, but is now a dark cherry powerhouse. Not much complexity to the wine, but pleasant to sip a glass or two. 87/100. Opened 30-Mar-23.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
