NV Quinta da Devesa White 40YO (bottled 2019)

Drunk at the Producer's Dinner at the Boot & Flogger the night before the BFT. Brought by Felipe Marinho of Quinta da Devesa.

Devesa 40yo White b2019. Dried mango nose. Thick, sweet marmalade on the nose. Powerful bitters on the edge of the tongue which fade to Seville Orange oil. Very long finish. A fabulous and intense White Port. 96/100. Tasted 19-Apr-23. Pop 'n' pour.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
